The annual convocation of the University of Karachi (KU) will be held here on April 30. A spokesman of the KU said that Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan, who is also the Chancellor of the public sector universities in the province, would be the chief guest on the occasion.
Those who graduated in the 2005 and 2006 academic years will be conferred degrees on the occasion. The university spokesman further pointed out that 154 gold medals would also be conferred, besides awarding 76 Ph.D. and 33 M.Phil. degrees.
