President Pakistan Deaf Cricket Association (PDCA) Abdul Salam has asked the government to resolve the problem of unemployment of members Pakistan Deaf Cricket Team (PDCT). While addressing a press conference here on Monday, he said PDCT had a good record and it had recently won Asia Cup.
PDCA will hold second Asia Cup in 2009 at Lahore. He also informed the journalists that PDCT would also visit New Zealand in March 2009 to participate in the World Cup.
Domestic cricket for deaf would likely to start very soon, he said. He asked different institutions specially banks to give jobs to members PDCT and also asked Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to fix some suitable salaries for their coaches.
