Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has placed another Japanese automotive expert Kiyoshi Yoshida at the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (Smeda) Lahore, under Smeda-JICA Industry Support Program.
According to Smeda sources, Yoshida, who arrived at Pakistan last week will stay for one year till April 2008. During his stay, Yoshida will provide technical guidance and consultancy to automotive vendor industry in the field of production management on voluntary basis. Yoshida has 34 years experience in Japanese Automotive Industry. Considering the exceptional results of this initiative, JICA sent Kiyoshi Yoshida as a second senior volunteer at Smeda, Lahore.
