Parliamentary leader of PML-N in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that pressure is mounting on the government as it changes stance daily. Talking to a private TV channel he said the government is accusing the opposition of politicising the issue but they have themselves started taking out processions.
Chaudhry Nisar said that no single pane was smashed during the entire movement of the opposition. The government is so scared that it seeks to ignite a civil war in the country by bringing people from different areas, he added. "The government wants the TV channels not to cover the events and the channels covering them are served show-cause notices," he said.
On the other hand, he said General Musharraf invites senior journalists and speaks such things, which are purely the contempt of court, the PML leader said. Federal Information Minister Muhammad Ali Durrani talking to a private TV said the government never stopped opposition from taking out processions and holding rallies.
He said the opposition parties blocked the Supreme Court gates on the occasion of last six hearings, adding the apex court is the symbol of justice but they do so to pressurise the judiciary.
