Five Supreme Court benches set up for next week

Acting Chief Justice Rana Bhagwandas has constituted five benches of the Supreme Court for the next week, starting from April 30, for hearing of hundreds of cases at Islamabad.
According to the cause list, issued by the Fixture Department of the SC for next week, all the five benches, comprising Justice Javed Iqbal, Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan and Justice Chaudhry Ijaz Ahmed (Bench-I), Justice Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday, Justice Falak Sher and Justice M.Javed Buttar (Bench-II), Justice Muhammad Nawaz Abbasi and Justice Sayed Saeed Ashhad (Bench-III), Justice Faqir Muhammad Khokhar, Justice Raja Fayyaz Ahmed and Justice Ghulam Rabbani (Bench-IV), Justice Tassaddaque Hussain Jillani and Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk (Bench-V), will hear cases at Islamabad.
On the directive of the acting Chief Justice, the Fixture Department has already mentioned on the top of cause list that "No application for adjournment through fax will be placed before the court. If the counsel is unable to appear for any reason, the Advocate-on-Record will be required to argue the case."
