The Unesco and NCHD jointly organised a 'Education For All' Walk here on Sunday to create awareness among the masses about the education being their basic human right.
The rally, led by District Nazim Maulvi Habib-ur-Rehman, started from his office and after marching through different roads of town ended at Officers' Club where a seminar was also organised on the subject. A large number of students, teachers, boy scouts and citizens took part in the rally and attended the seminar.
Meanwhile, local social circles stressed on setting up computer centres, language centres and promoting sports activities among the students. They said that the authorities were claiming to have spent huge funds on education but there is no change visible.
