KARACHI: Chairman of Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) Professor Dr Saeeduddin said on Sunday that the exams of matriculation would be held in two phases from March 28 to May 3, 2017 because of shortage of teachers who will remain busy in the Census-related duties.

As many as 318 examination centres have been established for Science Group, of which some 172 centers have been designated for boys while rest of 145 for girls. The centers include 196 government and 122 private schools.

The BSE chairman said that the NJV Government Boys Secondary School on MA Jinnah Road has been declared Hub center for the District South, advising the students living in Lyari, Saddar and Keamari areas to get their date sheets and admit cards from that centre.

Similarly, the SITE Model Government Boys Secondary School has been declared Hub Center for the District West that includes areas of SITE, Orangi, and Baldia Town.
