Mixed trend was observed at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bulls and bears had a close fight under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index showed a decrease of 1.20 points as the index moved from 2,589.73 to 2,588.53 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 4,154,200 shares as compared to previous volume of 4,672,300 shares. Total 135 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (67) closed in negative territory, 65 closed in positive zone, where three stocks remained glued to their overnight levels.
The turnover of Fauji Fertiliser Bin Qasim was 1,330,000 shares as compared previous volume of 606,000 shares. The volume of Bank of Punjab was 522,200 shares. The turnover of Fauji Cement was 502,500 shares.
