Pakistan has captured the world mango market due to the good taste, flavour and high standard of its mangoes particularly 'Chaunsa, 'Anwar Ratole," 'Sindhari', 'Malda', 'Samar Behisht'. Now selling mangoes in the global market is becoming a bitter experience for Indian exporters.
Pakistani exporters have appealed to the commerce ministry to provide them subsidy in air frieght otherwise they would also face Indian exporters-like situation as they are losing out to Pakistan due to higher cost because of exorbitant freight levied by international airlines.
