Information Director's murder condemned

NWFP Minister for Information Asif Iqbal Daudzai has strongly condemned the killing of Director Information NWFP, Syed Mehdi Hussain and termed it as cruel and coward act on the part of those involved in the crime.
He condoled with the bereaved family and expressed his heartiest feelings of sorrow and grief on the sad incident. In a statement issued here Asif Iqbal paid rich tributes to his meritorious services rendered for the provincial government and said that the province has deprived of a very honest, dutiful and competent officer. He said that the services rendered by Syed Mehdi Hussain would always be remembered.
Information minister assured that the provincial government would conduct inquiry into the incident and those involved in the case would soon be brought to justice. He directed the police to complete the inquiry and report to the provincial government as soon as possible.
