It closed at 1,859.50 with a net positive change of 55.93 points and percentage change of 3.10.
BR Commercial Banks Index was the second most active sector. It closed at 6,105.39 with a net positive change of 61.11 points and percentage change of 1.01. The turnover for this sector was 58,747,700 shares.
BR Tech. & Comm. Index was the third most active sector. It closed at 1,792.34 with a net upward change of 17.6 points and percentage change of 0.99. The volume of this sector was 45,459,600 shares. BR Oil and Gas Index closed with a turnover of 12,602,700 shares. It closed at 2,221.30 with a net negative change of -0.22 points and percentage change of -0.01.
BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 1,546.79 with a downward change of -11.03 points and percentage change of -0.71. The turnover for this sector was 5,758,500 shares, which was the lowest among BR Indices.
