All water channels to be bricklined by month-end

All the water channels in the district will be bricklined by the end of June under President General Pervez Musharraf's National Reforms Programme.
An official of the RYK Water Management Department told APP here on Monday that the government had assigned the task of bricklining of 354 water channels to the department for the current fiscal year, of which 100 had been completed. The Punjab government rewarded the district department with rupees three million cash because of its outstanding performance.
