Pakistan Airforce has undertaken a large-scale relief operation for the rain victims in Sindh and Balochistan provinces, a PAF statement said on Sunday. Pakistan Air Force's C-130 transport aircraft carried out 35 relief flights with 380 tonnes relief goods in recent days to Turbat, Sibbi, Jacobabad, Pasni and Gwadar.
More than 100 persons have also been rescued and shifted to the safe areas. On Sunday, five C-130 aircraft with tents, dry milk, biscuits, rice, flour, ghee, sugar, pulses, juices, mineral water and medicines were sent to Turbat, four to Gwadar, two each to Sibbi and Jacobabad from PAF Base Faisal (Karachi) and one C-130 from Quetta to Turbat.
