PIE and a German multinational company have entered into a contract to construct a 40 MW grid station at Sundar Industrial Estate at a cost of Rs 138 million, which would be completed in 11 months.
The contract between Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company (PIEDMC) and Siemens Pakistan Engineering Company Limited was signed at PIEDMC office, a day earlier. Saber Pervaiz Chohan, Chief Executive Officer signed on behalf of PIEDMC whereas Shaukat Ali Hassan signed the document on behalf of Siemens.
According to details M/S Siemens will construct 40 MVA, 132/11.5 kV Grid Station at Sunder Industrial Estate at a total cost of Rs 138 million within a period of 11 months. Ground breaking ceremony will take place within one week at the site of the proposed grid station. On completion of the grid station, Industrial connections in the estate will further grow to accelerate the ongoing pace of industrialisation in Punjab.
