Pakistan Credit Rating Agency Limited (PACRA) has upgraded long-term entity rating of Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Company Limited (SNGPL) to AA (Double A) while maintained company's short-term rating at A1+ (A One Plus).
It has been stated in a letter sent to SNGPL by PACAR that the Agency had completed the rating update of the SNGPL for the year 2006 and the ratings denote a very low expectation of credit risk and a very strong capacity for timely payment of financial commitments. Pacra is a well-known credit rating agency of Pakistan whose primary function is to evaluate the capacity and willingness of an entity to honour its obligations.
