President of his own faction of Jamait-e-Ullma Islam, Maulana Sami-ul-Haq has urged the Supreme Court of Pakistan to take suo motu notice to get resolved the Lal Masjid issue. Talking to newsmen here on Saturday, Maulana said that Lal Masjid issue is mere a drama staged by both government and Lal Masjid administration.
He asked the government to stop this drama and take immediate steps to put an end to this issue. He asked Maulana Abdul Rashid Ghazi to hand him over to Supreme Court of Pakistan. To a question, Maulana Sami-ul-Haq maintained that they would not permit any action against the religious Madaris on the pretext of extremism. He further said that people want to know how arms reached at Lal Masjid.
