Bears returned in the driving at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where major players and short-term margin hunters remained on the sidelines amid decrease in index. ISE-10 Index was down by 17.35 points as it moved from 2,932.43 to 2,915.08 points.
The volume of trade amounted to 2,733,700 shares as compared to previous turnover of 2,281,500 shares. Total 146 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (104) closed in negative territory, 39 closed in positive zone, whereas three companies remained pegged to their overnight levels.
The volume of Arif Habib Securities was 466,700 shares. The turnover of Javed Omer Vohra & Co was 338,600 shares. The turnover of OGDCL was 241,400 shares.
