Hearing of on-line banking fraud case put off

Special Judge (Offences in respect of Banks) has adjourned the proceedings of on-line banking fraud case till August 8. The proceedings in a petition filed by Imran Khyzar Hayat and Saqib Ahmed employees of Bank Alfalah seeking exemption from appearance before the court.
The court had issued bailable arrest warrants of the complainants for not appearing before the court. They submitted a petition seeking exemption for not appearing before the court.
The counsel of the complainant Haider Ali Khan opposed the plea and submitted that the accused have committed an on-line bank fraud, therefore, their appearance could not be exempted. After hearing the complainant counsel the court adjourned the proceedings for further arguments on the next date of hearing and rose for the day.
