Punjab Secretary Information and Culture Ashfaq Gondal has said that inter-provincial tours of journalists will be arranged in future so that they could study the cultural and regional values of other provinces.
Talking to Director Public Relations Hassan Akhtar Chishti and other officials of information department during his visit to the Public Relation Office he said that the proposed tours would enable the journalist to discharge their duty in a better way. He asked the officers to get modern knowledge and computer skill.
He said that all necessary facilities would be provided in the offices of public relations in the province while all offices would be provided facility of internet soon. He also announced that two computers and a new fax machine would be provided to the regional public relations office in the city. He lauded full coverage by the Multan office regarding the working of the Punjab government.
