Auqaf spells out reforms for religious schools

The Provincial Auqaf Department will open 15 new model religious schools in the current fiscal year, Provincial Minister of Auqaf Syed Saeedul Hassan Shah said in a meeting with a 15-member delegation of religious scholars.
The Provincial Minister said his government had planned to streamline the religious with 30 model schools to be set up. The Minister said the schools had already been set up in Darul-Aloom Hazarat Baba Fareed Shakkar Gunj in Pakpattan, Darall-Alloom Hazarat Khwaja Fareed Mithan Kot, Darul -Aloom Syed Jallaludeen Surkh Bukhari in Uchh Shareef, Darul -Aloom Darbar Hazarat Syed Chiragh Ali Shah in Lahore, Darul -Aloom Hazarat Noor Muhammad Maharvi in Chishteean, Darul-Aloom Hazarat Bahauddeen Zikareyah in Multan, Darul -Aloom Hazarat Sheikh Fazil in Burrewala and Darul -Aloom Hazarat Mian Meer. He also said these schools will give free education and provide students with facilities.
