A leader of Pakistan Muslim League from Kahuta, Murree Javaid Iqbal Satti called Punjab Chief Minister, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi at Chief Minister's Secretariat here on Wednesday. Political and party affairs as well as problems of the area were discussed in the meeting. Shahid Riaz Satti, Vice President PML Punjab was also present on the occasion.
During the meeting Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that Pakistan Muslim League had strengthened itself by joining Javed Iqbal Satti and it would leave a positive impact on the next general elections. He announced that Javed Iqbal Satti would be the PML candidate in the general elections and added that PML had become the most popular political and democratic party of the country and its main rival would be Peoples Party in the forthcoming general elections.
He said that PML had been implementing welfare agenda in accordance with its manifesto due to which public-spirited elements were gathering on the platform of PML. Javed Iqbal Satti said that he had joined PML as he was deeply impressed with it development strategy.
