The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has named former Sindh chief secretary Aslam Sanjrani its nominee on the International Cricket Council (ICC) Code of Conduct Commission Panel. A PCB spokesman said the commission would work as an ICC committee to launch official inquiries and investigate relevant matters.
It was an official inquiry by the Code of Conduct Commission that suggested dropping the life ban on Ataur Rehman last year. Sanjrani holds an MA in LLB and has served the government in various capacities since 1998. He has played first-class cricket in Pakistan. In 1979, he toured as Associate Manager with the Pakistan cricket team to India.
