Lawyers under the banner of Save Judiciary Committee marched on the Mall here on Saturday to register their protest against the detention of Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan and to press the government to allow the exiled politicians to come back to the homeland.
The SJC Convenor Abdul Rashid Qureshi addressed the participants and said the government should release Dr Qadeer Khan immediately. He said people had great respect for their heroes but unfortunately, the government was disgracing Dr Khan. He said people of Pakistan could not ignore the services of Dr Qadeer Khan and added that SJC will continue its struggle till his release.
