The difference between developed western world and underdeveloped eastern part of planet was minimal before the advent of industrial revolution. Industrial revolution played a pivotal role in giving present shape to the continent of Europe and subsequently to USA.
In this backdrop, we initiated our efforts to establish Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development & Management Company (FIEDMC). The main objective of FIEDMC is to start a new chapter of orderly and planned industrialisation in the country, which is the key to progress. During these three years we never doubted achieving our goals.
By the sheer grace of God, we have already completed a relatively smaller industrial estate namely Value Addition City and now launching the largest industrial project of the country M3 Industrial City. It is not only laying down the foundation of a new Faisalabad city but also a stepping stone towards setting up the pace of industrial revolution in Pakistan.
The idea of public private collaboration has been a great success. Chief minister Punjab, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi deserves the greatest credit under the visionary leadership of General Pervez Musharraf for making this project realise into reality. I would like to meantion the efforts made by the Government of Punjab here and express my gratitude for extending its full financial support for the realisation of this project.
