Special Communications Organisation (SCO) has launched GSM SCOM Mobile Phone Service in Sust, a border town close to China and hub of border trade in Upper Hunza.
Traders and visitors have widely hailed the only GSM mobile communication facility saying that this will usher in a new era of prosperity in the area, said a press release. SCO has also finalised all arrangements to launch GSM SCOM in towns of Ghizer district on 60th anniversary of Independence Day on 14 August 2007.-PR
