The Lahore High Court (LHC) has called for a report from State Bank officials following a petition filed by Assistant Treasurer Qamar Bakhtair in 15 days. Bakhtiar claimed that he had obtained a loan from the Bank of Punjab in his own capacity but the State Bank stopped his salary.
He argued that his mother was ill and had to stay away from the office, failing to pay the instalments. The court heard his Counsel, M D Tahir, and told the bank to give the report.
