A four-day international workshop on 'Lignite Coal: Challenges and Success', will be held in the third week of October 2007 under the aegis of Sindh Coal Authority and Sindh Mines and Mineral Development Department.
Official sources said that international speakers would participate in the workshop and deliberate upon lignite coal potential and its proper exploration for power generation in the province. Geologist from investment companies working in coal related projects would also relate their experiences while working on Sindh coal deposits.
