Former Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali Thursday said that level playing field should be provided to all the political parties to contest the forthcoming general elections. Talking to a private television channel he said the exiled political leaders should also be allowed to return and participate in the elections.
If there are some cases against these leaders they will have to face them but there should be no other restriction on their return to home. To a question the veteran Muslim Leaguer said that Pakistan Muslim League has not been able to deliver goods in accordance with the vision of founder of the nation.
He said Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had great vision of Pakistan at the time of its creation but unfortunately that vision has not been pursued appropriately by the leadership in the past. It is ripe time now for the Leaguers to address their past mistakes and work together for the progress and prosperity of the country, he said.
