The Habib Bank Limited (HBL) has won the Institute of Bankers of Pakistan's Knowledge Week 2007 bankers quiz competition. A bank spokesman said here on Friday that HBL nominated three bank employees for the competition held on April 7.
Zaheer Ahmad Sipra (Manager Credit, Gulberg Br Lahore), Mustafa Subhani (Manager Trade, Peco Road Br Lahore) and Shahbaz Ali Malik (Branch Manager, Chuna Mandi Br Lahore) participated in the competition and won the first prize, defeating 14 teams from different banks.
The IBP awarded a trophy with a cash price of Rs 25,000 to the winning team. The bank management also awarded a cash award of Rs 10,000 to each team member.
