It experienced intra-day high of 13,495.18 and low of 12,877.05. The volume amounted to 91,470,000 shares, which was 60.09 percent of market total and 81.76 percent of KSE-100 index. The volumes of KSE All Share and KSE-100 were 152,224,600 and 111,868,900 shares, respectively.
BR Commercial Banks Index was the most active sector. It closed at 5,307.81 with a net negative change of -192.23 points and percentage change of -3.50. The turnover for this sector was 33,833,200 shares. BR Tech & Comm Index was the second most active sector. It closed at 1,699.86 with a net downward change of -94.51 points and percentage change of -5.27. The volume of this sector was 24,318,600 shares.
BR Oil and Gas Index was the third most active sector. It closed at 2,048.53 with a net negative change of -82.09 points and percentage change of -3.85. The volume was 18,772,600 shares. BR Cement Index closed at 1,638.57 with a net negative change of -81.3 points and percentage change of -4.73. Volume was 13,635,400 shares.
BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 1,349.27 with a downward change of -39.73 points and percentage change of -2.86. The turnover for this sector was 6,725,700 shares, which was again the lowest among BR Indices.
