Chicago Board of Trade wheat futures turned lower near midday Thursday on profit-taking after notching an 11-year high on the open, traders said. Corn followed wheat lower then both turned firm as volatility in Chicago markets continues. September wheat was up 3-1/2 cents at $7.22 per bushel, after sliding to $7.08-1/2, down 10. December corn 1/4 cent at $3.64-1/2.
