MAHIRA-KHAN1024Pakistani diva Mahira Khan is the highest earning actress in India for 2017. Mahira beat top Indian actresses like Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone to become the highest grossing actress during the first quarter of 2017.

Mahira who made her debut in Bollywood with ‘Raees’ opposite Shah Rukh Khan, swoon away the whole entertainment fraternity which went gaga over the lady for bagging a high budget film across the borders. An Indian publication, Bollywood Life enlisted actresses who did the best in the first quarter of 2017 in which Mahira beats the famous divas of Bollywood.

The ‘Bol’ actress has escalated to the pinnacle with Raees making a box-office collection Rs 137.51 crore.

The second and third position holders are Yami Gautam with ‘Kaabil’ and Huma Qureshi with ‘Johny LLB 2’ respectively.

Mahira has left behind Bollywood ace actors such as Alia Bhatt with ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya’ and Deepika Padukone with her Hollywood debut, ‘xXx: Return of the Xander Cage’ to fourth and fifth position in the list.

However, it is expected that she might not sustain the record as Pakistani artists are now banned in India but we wish the versatile star good luck for future projects.
