Algeria's largest company, the state-owned oil concern Sonatrach, recorded a three-percent drop in export volumes for the first half of this year, according to figures it released Saturday. In all, 67.86 million tonnes of oil equivalent were exported over the first six months, for an income of 26.81 billion dollars (19.65 billion euros).
The weighted average for a barrel of Algeria's Sahara Blend oil over the period was 66.07 dollars, compared with 66.44 dollars in the first half of 2006, the company said.
