Adamjee Insurance Company Limited has posted Rs 1,181.351 million as profit after tax (PAT), while earning per share (EPS) stood at Rs 11.56 in the half year period ended on June 30 as compared to Rs 1,064.372 million as PAT and Rs 10.41 as EPS in the corresponding period last year.
The board of directors of the company, in its meeting held on Tuesday, recommended an interim cash dividend for the half year at Rs 1.50 per share, ie 15 percent. In an information sent to the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE), it was stated that the company's net premium revenue surged to Rs 2,722.044 million in the period under review against Rs 2,603.476 million in the same period last year. The company's profit before tax increased to Rs 1,358.467 million in this period against Rs 1,157.845 million in the same period last year.
