Eight people including a woman lost their lives and 21 others were injured as a Sehwan-bound bus coming from Punjab fell into a ravine. According to Geo News, the driver lost control as the tie-rod of the bus snapped at Rasoolabad Bypass and slid into a gorge. The bus was full of pilgrims heading for Sehwan.
Eight bodies were removed from the ill-fated bus during the relief operation and 21 injured were rushed to the hospitals of Mingorja, Ranipur, Gambut and Khairpur. Six of them were in critical condition. According to police, three men have been identified as Mohammed Nasir, Chand Mian and Gulzar Ali.
