Yellow peas sharply lower on grain market

Thin trading was seen on the grain market on Saturday as most of the commodities maintained the overnight levels except yellow peas sharply lower in process of trading, dealers said. On the cereal side, wheat old and new with bardana shed Rs 10 to Rs 1310-1325, they said. Other commodity items maintained the overnight levels, they said.
On the gram side, yellow peas Canada was sharply lower by Rs 300 to Rs 2575-2700, they said. Yellow peas dal Canada was down by Rs 325 to Rs 2875-3000, they said. On the seed side, cottonseed oilcake with bag was higher by Rs 50 to Rs 350-500, they said. Other items maintained the same levels, they added.
