Two persons were killed and seven wounded in a coaster and truck collision at Qaidabad area here on Sunday. Police said that the accident occurred by the side of the new flyover at Qaidabad on the national highway.
As the truck coming from the wrong side collided with a speeding coaster heading towards Steel Mills, which left the 9 coaster riders grievously injured, who were later shifted to Jinnah Hospital in Edhi ambulances.
Injured Muhammad Saleem and another unidentified person succumbed to the injuries at the hospital. The seven wounded Syed Aamir, Arif, Asim, Abdul Qayyum, Usman, Azmat and Asim Raza have been admitted into the Jinnah Hospital.
