M. Rafique Khan, Secretary General, Pakistan Cloth Merchants Association (PCMA), has resigned after eight years successful service with PCMA. PCMA Central Chairman Ahmed Chinoy announced here on Thursday that Rafique Khan has resigned on his own accord. He was also Managing Director of PCMA's monthly journal "Textile Today."
Chinoy in his letter has described Rafique Khan as "a very honest, efficient, hard working, dedicated and responsible officer." Ebraheem Shivani, Chairman, Advisory Board, Textile Today has also lauded his services. Not only the members of PCMA but former governor, State Bank of Pakistan, Dr Ishrat Hussain had also appreciated the services of Rafique Khan in successfully managing the PCMA affairs and improving the Textile Today which is now considered as one of the leading journals of Pakistan.
