District Management Hyderabad under "Price Control and Prevention of Profiteering and Hoarding Act 1977," and "Sindh Essential Commodities Price Control and Prevention of Hoarding Ordinance 2006," has delegated the powers of Special Judicial Magistrate to five Revenue Officers of the district to raid and try the offences of illegal profiteering, and hoarding of essential commodities on the spot.
According to details, Lal Dino Mangi, Mukhtarkar Taluka Hyderabad City and Muhammad Ibrahim Almani Mukhtarkar Estate Hyderabad have been empowered to try the cases in the jurisdictions of all Police Stations of Taluka Hyderabad City. Rashid Mehmood Siddiqui Mukhtarkar Taluka Latifabad to exercise his judicial powers at the jurisdictions of all Police Stations of Taluka Latifabad.
Similarly, Akhtar Ali Shaikh Mukhtarkar Qasimabad to exercise the power in jurisdiction of all Police Stations of Taluka Qasimabad. Likewise, Kazi Mushtaque Ahmed Mukhtarkar Taluka Hyderabad (Rural) has been assigned to pay surprise raid and try offences of illegal profiteering, hoarding of essential commodities at all Police Stations of Taluka Hyderabad Rural on the spot during the month of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak.
