The city remained without electricity whole day on Tuesday as technical faults persisted in two units at Korangi thermal power station and one at Bin Qasim power station for the last three days.
Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) failed to remove these faults which caused severe electricity shortage problems at the residential and commercial parts of the city, besides health and academic institutions.

They chanted anti-KESC slogan and demanded early restoration of electricity supply. Angry mobs were complaining about electricity fluctuation damaging a large number of electrical appliances.
