Lawyers in industrial city observed a complete strike on Thursday and took out rally to protest against President Musharraf's plans to be re-elected as president for another five years in a poll on October 6. The protest rally was led by District Bar Association president Tanveer ur Rehman Randhawa, secretary Tauqeer Sarwar Sheikh and other senior advocates.
The protest rally concluded peacefully after marching the city roads and Chowk Clock Tower at district court Faisalabad. The protesters chanted slogans against the President Musharraf.
