The former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would return soon after the Eid-ul-Fitr, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said here while talking to media persons outside Supreme Court building. When asked about the exact date, he was reluctant to give any, however, he said, the nation would listen good news soon after Eid-ul-Fitr.
He condemned the way Mian Nawaz Sharif was deported on September 10 saying, Nawaz Sharif was returned on the verdict of Supreme Court. He said the Supreme Court would listen the next hearing of the contempt of court application filed by the PML-N on October 17 and after that the party would finalise the future strategy.
Meanwhile, Acting President PML-N Javed Hashmi said the way the government deported former prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif to Saudi Arabia on September, 10 was not correct.
Talking to reporters outside the Supreme Court after the hearing of the case regarding deportation of Mian Nawaz Sharif he said Nawaz landed at Islamabad airport after the Supreme Court's verdict but the government failed to honour the court's decision.
He welcomed Supreme Court's suo moto notice against the arrests of opposition workers and said there were 600 to 700 PML workers in different jails of the country.
He said the SC had asked the government to provide a list of all arrested as well as of released PML-N and other opposition parties workers. "The court has also asked PML-N to provide a list of its arrested workers," he added.
