Members of Parliament and Provincial Assemblies are required to submit yearly statement of assets and liability in respect of their own as well as of their spouses and dependants by 30th September. Chief Election Commissioner Qazi Muhammad Farooq issued the reminder on Friday.
He added those Members of Parliament and Assemblies who fail to file the statement by 30th September shall cease to function till they submit the statement. The specified form would be available free of cost from the Commission's secretariat at Islamabad as well as the offices of Provincial Election Commissioners. The forms have also been sent to the Senate, National Assembly and provincial assemblies.
