A high level meeting held here on Friday to review the reconstruction process being carried out in the quake-hit areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
Besides others, AJK Minister for re-construction, Lieutenant Colonel Raja Muhammad Naseem Khan (Retd), General Officer Commanding (GOC) Major General Zaheer-ul-Islam and Chief Secretary Major Javed Majid (Retd) also attended the meeting. Director General Erra, Dr Asif Ali Shah briefed the meeting about the progress of the reconstruction projects being carried out in AJK.
AJK Minister, while speaking on the occasion, thanked all the donor agencies working in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and reiterated government's resolve in transforming this disaster into an opportunity. Speaking on the occasion, General Officer Commanding, Major General Zaheer-ul-Islam said that Army's support for Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) people will continue till the problems of victims resolved.
