LCCI announces election schedule

The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Executive Committee on Wednesday has announced the election schedule for the year 2007. According to the announcement, the election for the four seats of Chamber Class (Corporate Class) and one for Trade Group will be held on November 27 while polling for four seats of Associated Class will be held on November 28
Final lists of the voters will be displayed on November 05 and nomination papers will be received on November 12. Sources said that polling would take place between 9am to 5pm with a one-hour break for lunch and prayers. Provisional results of the election will be announced on the same day. Further, voting for the office of the president, senior vice president and vice president will be held on November 28 soon after the announcement of the provision results.
