Lahore Electric supply Company (Lesco) donated Rs 5 million for state of the art Burn Unit being established at the Wapda Hospital Complex, Lahore. Managing Director Pakistan Electric Power Company (Pepco) Munawar Baseer Ahmed presented a cheque to the Wapda medical services director general on behalf of Lesco during his visit to Wapda Hospital.
Pepco MD said the six-bed Burn Unit first of its kind would provide modern treatment facilities for employees and the members of their family. He also directed DG medical services wapda Afzal Sheikh to establish two modern dispensaries one each at Kasur and Shahdara to provide healthcare facilities to Lesco employees near to their place of posting.
