Rawal Town administration has planned to take concrete steps to address the parking problem in Rawalpindi city and construct commercial parking plazas in different areas. The Town administration has prepared a comprehensive plan for construction of parking plazas at Fawara Chowk, Sadiqabad and other places sources disclosed on Thursday.
He said car parking would be allowed at these sites charging Rs 10 per hour. This, he maintained, on one hand, increase revenue of the Town Council and, on the other, provide relief to motorists coming for shopping in busy markets of the city.
