Rs 2.89 million dual carriage way in progress

Provincial Minister for Communication and Works Chaudhry Zaheer-ud-Din Khan has said the construction of the 96-kilometre long dual carriage way from Gujrat to the Salam interchange motorway through Mandi Bahauddin is in progress and will be completed at a cost of Rs 2,889.98 million.
The meeting said 50 percent cost the government would share while the Punjab would share 50 percent. "On this project Rs 50 million has been spent up to June 2007 while during the current fiscal year Rs 80 million has been allocated," he said.
