The profit after tax of Kot Addu Power Company Limited (Kapco) has increased to Rs 88.048 million in the quarter ended on September 30 as compared to Rs 1,118.992 million earned in the corresponding period last year. The company's earning per share surged to Rs 1.49 in the period under review against Rs 1.27 in the same period last year.
The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) was informed that the company's sales increased to Rs 10,232.194 million in the said period against Rs 8,785.256 million in the same period last year.
On the other hand, the cost of sales stood at Rs 7,917.979 million against Rs 6,828.943 million in the same period last year. The company's other operating income surged to Rs 192.003 million in this quarter against Rs 86.710 million in the same period last year.
