A delegation of Malaysia's International Islamic University comprising Ulema and intellectuals is arriving here on a three-day visit. The delegation, on the invitation of Council of Islamic Ideology (CII), will visit Council of Islamic Ideology (CII), Federal Shariat Court and International Islamic University here.
Dean, Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilisation, Malaysia will deliver a lecture on "Shariah in Malaysia" in the Council of Islamic Ideology during the visit. It may be mentioned here that the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) has started a programme to discuss problems being faced by Muslim countries and societies in implementation of Islamic law during the modern era.
Under this programme, the delegations comprising members of the Council have carried out visits too Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iran and Malaysia to interact with the Ulema and intellectual in these countries. The visit of Malaysian delegation is part of that programme. This year, delegations from Iran, Morocco and other countries will also visit Pakistan.
